Biography

Born in Wuppertal. (G} in 1939, living in the Netherlands for the last 35 years.
After " mater familiae " the first years, she was for 30 years an assistant for Germanic philology department at a secondary school .
For the past 7 years, she taken lessons of the Fine Arts Academy of Antwerp (B} in Kapellen.
There she learned the perfect techniques she uses now. She has no preference for fixed motives at this moment. So you may find a flower-in- vase in pastel near the soap-dish in her own bath-room in oil, or a village in southern France in water-colour near a hungry African woman with child in acryl.
She had several exhibitions in the Netherlands, one collective with her husband Jurgen Katzmann. Some works are in private collections in Holland and Belgium
